Peaceful Panda Psychology
I have provided counselling and other psychological services predominantly in community settings and through government contracts in the Inner-West, Western Sydney and East Sydney. In these years, I have had the privilege of meeting and working with people from different walks of life. I have worked with the general adult and adolescent population, but have also worked closely with refugees, youth and adult offenders, the homeless and individuals who have been long-term unemployed. Currently, most individuals I see experience anxiety, depression, relationship issues, stress/trauma relating to various factors, such as work, family, medical related, or sudden changes in their lives.
To me, the size of the problem is not the issue; it is the ability to cope and be resilient. We all experience things differently and respond to things according to our upbringing, environment, resources, experience and emotional & psychological health. I believe that with awareness, and through developing effective skills to help us manage with these issues, that we can minimise emotional distress and still continue to live a meaningful and values-guided life.
You can rest assured that my approach is non-judgemental, caring, empathetic and professional. My therapeutic style is evidence-based, supportive and goal-directed.
